Class-A Conex Fire Training Simulator Operations

Fire Fighting Training Simulator Systems constructed of shipping containers that are fired by “Class A” materials are among the most dynamic and complex to manage due to its vent-limited nature.

The success, or failure, of any training exercise, relies heavily on the instructors. As an instructor conducting live fire training exercises, you are responsible for the value of the training and the safety of all participants involved.

Guided by a tenured Simulator Operations Course Sub-Contracted Lead Train-the-Trainer, this two-day course offers fire service educators tasked with delivering instruction to student participants qualification for management and operation specific to the Agency’s Training Structure.

Instructors will gain a comprehensive understanding of the design & purpose of the system, safe operation, basic simulation procedures, safety standards, along with detailed training standard operating procedures and expectations.

Upon successful completion of the training program the involved will have met and exceeded the Job Performance Requirements for National Fire Protection Association Standard 1403 (2018) – Standard on Live Fire Training Evolutions – Section 4.7.13 – Training Instructors on How to Use Specialty Props.
